If you plan to keep it a little longer then keep the pit and skin intact on that part and as mentioned, put lime juice n store in refrigerator . Does help me

Hey another way to check if avocado is ripe, is just giving a little push to the little tip on the top should remove the small stem at the top, that means its ripe
