Twisted Bloody Mary Drink Recipe – Virgin or Spiked!

Jazz up your regular tomato juice and make it not just fancy but delicious as well – and top it up with a beautiful name. Gear up for the summer and load up with anti-oxidants 😉

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

Tomato Juice – 1 can
Tamarind Paste – 1 tsp
Worcestershire Sauce – 1 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
Tabasco – few dashes or to taste
Salt – to taste
Lime Juice – to taste
Vodka – a shot to spike it (optional)
Ice Cubes – as needed
Celery Stick – for garnish

Method:

1. In the Tomato Juice, mix in the Tamarind, Chaat Masala, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt and Tabasco. Add Vodka.
2. Mix well. Adjust seasonings and flavors.
3. Top up with Ice Cubes.
4. Garnish with a Celery Stick.

  1. Hetal is so correct!! Bloody Mary is definitely must boring tomato juice. The alcohol adds some interest but still not much fun. This recipe is great!! Kind of indian take on skinny girl cocktails :D.. I can see the tamarind is a laxmi brand concentrate..is it called tamarind concentrate or something else..in my experience there r so many brands at the India. Store but some r awful.. Please share..thanks for great recipe

      Yes, there are really a lot of different brands of tamarind available. The tamarind we had was a milder form. You can tell by the color. The really concentrated ones are dark, almost black. The milder ones are dark to light brown. Of course we have not tried every brand out there but most times, we just make our tamarind paste at home.
