Spicy Gin and Tonic Recipe

During my trip to Los Angeles, I had the chance to film with fellow YouTuber Hilah Johnson from HilahCooking. She helped me make a Spicy Gin and Tonic…for those craving some pizazz to their cocktail! If you are interested in adult beginner recipes with simple ingredients, please check out her YouTube channel.

Ingredients:

Any type of chili – we used a Red Thai Chili
Fresh Lime Juice – to taste (approx 1/8 to 1/4 of a lime)
Ice
Gin – 1 to 2 ounces
Tonic – to top off

Method:

1. Slit Chili lengthwise and drop it in a cocktail glass.
2. Using a muddler or wooden spoon, lightly mash the chili to release the flavor.
3. Squeeze fresh Lime Juice to taste.
4. Add Ice.
5. Add Gin.
6. Top it off with Tonic.
7. Stir and enjoy!

  1. I’d never thought of this as an option but will definitely try it. I keep lemon and lime slices in the freezer instead of using ice in my G&Ts, and also have some chillies in there so it’s any anytime drink! Will try it this weekend 🙂
