Avocado & Pomegranate Smoothie Recipe

This year the summer is a scorcher – no matter where in the world you are! This is a perfect way to beat the heat and feel healthy about it. The combination of Avocado, Pomegranate Seeds and the Yogurt is just amazing. The Avocado is good fat and hence good for you and the yogurt will keep you cool so take care of your mind and body, while enjoying this scrumptious smoothie.
Enjoy and stay cool over the summer.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1


Avocado – 1
Yogurt – 3/4 cup
Ice – 3-4 cubes
Pomegranate Seeds – 1 tbsp or to taste
Honey – 1 tbsp or to taste
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste


1. Cut the Avocado and remove the flesh.
2. Add to a blender along with Ice, Honey (or Salt & Pepper), Yogurt,
3. Blend till smooth.
4. Pour into a serving glass and add in some Pomegranate Seeds.
5. Serve cold!

    1. Avacados have been available in India for years but not in all cities and towns. It is commonly called butterfruit in the south of India. In fact, my family grows this in our estates.

      1. I did not know. Only from past few years I am hearing about this fruit in Bangalore. Another new veg is broccoli..even this was not available before.

        BTW, did you boil the milk and make yogurt in that pot or is it just for storing? The pot and the glass look very cute!
