Seven wonders of the world!
July 12th, 2007 at 1:35 pm
Thanks so much for the good news! (and for the good recipes of course)
I am very happy to hear that people from all over the world have voted for Taj Mahal, it is marvelous!
And as a peruvian citizen I m very proud that Macchu Picchu was consider by the voters one of the seven wonders too…
Macchu Picchu is the most enigmatic and beautiful ancient city built by the Inkas at the top of an andean mountain(9060 feet elevation) its breathtaking natural sightseeing is sometimes surrounded by clouds.
Many of the building blocks weight 50 tons or more and are so precisely sculpted that their joints won’t permit insert a thin knife blade, I only can say that the inkas seemed to be geniuses in architecture and aesthetic!! congratulations!

I think the idea of new 7 wonders is excellent. These new wonders are really amazing.
However, I’m quite impressed by the old ones. For our memories, I recommand this web site : http://www.seven-wonders-world.com that describes all the 7 wonders of the ancient world. It’s very interesting.
