There is nothing easier than putting together some chips and dip as an appetizer for your next soiree. At the same time, doesn’t everyone want their guests to think they spent good time and effort? Well, impress your guests with this “Wow” Greek layered dip recipe, but shhhh…don’t tell them how easy it was!
Ingredients: (all ingredient amounts will vary depending on size of serving platter)
Hummus – enough to spread a thick layer at the bottom of serving platter. Click here for recipe
Cucumber – peeled and diced
Tomatoes – diced
Red Onions – diced
Kalamata Olives – sliced
Feta Cheese – crumbled
Capers – optional
Flat Leaf Parsley – for garnishing
Method:
1. Spread Hummus in a thick layer at the bottom of serving platter
2. Layer remaining ingredients, one by one, over the hummus
3. Garnish with Parsley and serve with Pita chips.

The capers are usually next to the olives and other condiments.

Thanks for another great idea!
Why do some of your videos keep breaking up instead of being a continuous video. I understand that you have to take a number of clips and edit them but it loses it’s charm when you have to watch (even momentarily) eyes half closed, spoon stops stirring, a pause mid sentence etc.
Just an observation on my part. Love your work and want you to be the best!

Hi Jayshree,
Our videos are not purposely edited to pause in the middle. They should run continuously if you have high speed internet connection. If you are experiencing pauses, there is a setting at the bottom of the video box (shaped like a little flower) which allows you to change the resolution of the video. By reducing the resolution, the video will not be as sharp, but it may play without pausing on a lower internet connection speed.
