Submitted by: Meenakshi Sharma

Ingredients:

4 slice white bread
any type of big potato-2
red onion medium-1
green chilli -1
red chiili powder to taste
cilantro -1 spring
green peas-1/4 cup
peanuts -1/4 cups (optional)
garam masala-1 tsp
water -2cups
oil for frying
sat to taste
bread crums-1 cup

Method:

1. Boil potato and after boiling mashed it and add salt ,garam masala and red chilli powder .
2. Add chopped onion and green chilli .put 2tablespoon oil in pan and fry peanuts when it gets lightly brown take out from the pan .
3. Chopped onion and green chiili in a pan with the remaining oil when it started changing it’s color add peanuts and green peas and cilantro fry for couple of min then add mashed potato and mix well .now let it cool this mixture for about 5 to 10 min .
4. Take one bread slice dip it in a water don’t soak this bread in a water otherwise it gets like a paste just dip it and immediately take out from the water and squeeze all the water from the bread now take this bread in your palm and stuff this potato mix about 1 tablespoon in a bread (depending upon your bread size) now stuff this potato mix in bread like a round ball don’t worry if it’s doesn’t look like exactly ball shape just cover enough that all the potato mixture goes inside in the bread and then take this stuffing bread and dip into bread crums like it’s well cover with all side of the bread do the same process with the rest of the bread and deep fry in the hot oil well until it’s gets golden brown.
5. This appetizer goes well with the hot tea or with tamarind chutney.
