    I am new to US and need some help. I like cooking south Indian breakfast and in India I used to use the mixer grinder for making the batter for Idli and Dosa.
    Can I used food processor for making the batter here? The Indian mixers here are extremely expensive. Also, do I need to use some particular blade in the processor for making the batter.

      Unfortunately, food processors cannot grind idli/dosa batter fine enough. You would need a powerful blender or an Indian style mixie.
