One curry recipe that stands out from the bunch is the famous Mirchi Ka Salan recipe from Hyderabad (capital city of Andhra). Whole green chilies are pan-fried and simmered in a flavorful sesame seed and peanut sauce. The dish is easy to prepare and has a refreshingly pleasing taste. Recipe submitted by Prachi from Germany.

That looks really wonderful and the flavor profile sounds fantastic. Myself, I can’t get Jalapenios or other peppers where I am (Japan), so I’m wondering what other vegetables would with that gravy.

Hi Steven,
We haven’t tried this particular gravy with any other vegetable, but would imagine that potatoes, cauliflower or eggplant would taste really good.
