Thanks so much for you tips – they’re great! I tried this particular tip just this weekend and it worked a treat! Except I put in everything I could think of in the water-vinegar concoction – cloves, cardamom and cinnamon! Gave off a lovey Christmassy sort of aroma! Thanks again for your ideas.

To eliminate odours in my kitchen I bring a pot of water and vinegar to a boil and let it simmer for about an hour. If the scent is on cutting boards, I soak it with lemon juice,sprinkle alot of baking soda over the top and let sit over night. Wash the next day with a scrubber and hot water. Just a thought..the easiest way would be using a kitchen fragrance spray from BBW.
