  5. Hi again,
So I was able to get the voice audio track to work. For some reason my audio was panned to the left side. Now I am able to hear your voice on the right side.

    Bye for now,
    Sam (from Canada)

  6. Hi,
I’m having the same problem with the sound. I can hear the music but not any voices. I wonder if converting the video from stereo to mono would fix it.

Thanks for all the great video recipes!

    Sam

  7. Something wrong with this video. Now we cannot hear when you guys talk. Only the music part plays well. Couldn’t hear anything that you guys spoke. I have noticed the same problem with other older videos on your website. I didn’t have any problems when I watched these videos first time.

    1. Hi R,

The video plays fine on our side. Over the years, in hopes of improving our show, we have made several changes to our equipment and processes (and made some mistakes doing so) :). This may be one of the videos that the sound was recorded only on the right or left channel. Are you using a different speaker system (or headphones) to watch this video than you may have before? That may be the problem as the sound is coming in from only one channel.

  8. Hi Hetal & Anuja,

Can I skip the jalapenos in this recipe, I am concerned that it might turn out to be very spicy. Please response. Thanks.

  10. Hey Gals,

Good recipe. Can’t wait to try this one out. One question.. Would it be ok to substitute sour cream with fresh cream??

  11. hi hetal,
i have a one question about cheese.i am vegetarain not vegan.i can’t eat meat, fish chicken.
monterey jack cheese is vegi?all cheese is vegi?if you have list please give me.i see online but its confused me.please give me ans.

    1. I dont think any cheese in canada would be pure vege !

There is always something in it, if not rennet than there is microbial enzyme !

I guess in india to find this is easy but not abroad !

    1. Hi Priyanka,
Neither one of us have had an electric stove for a very very long time so cannot make a recommendation, sorry πŸ™ What we would suggest is that you something that heats evenly (heavy bottomed ones are good).

  12. Hi Anuja and Hetal!! Love your website πŸ™‚ Hey I guess you guys don’t have spatulas displayed in your online shopping store. Need to get one which can be used for all types of cookwares especially non-stick ones. The one that you are using seems good. Can you give me a suggestion as to where I can get it in your store? Thanks!!

    1. Sorry, Priyanka, the spatulas were bought a long time ago from a dollar store and we have not seen them since then πŸ™
Regarding the pans, we got it from Bed Bath and Beyond.

  13. hi there,

Two requests if you could show us how to make paneer chilli for veges and as well as paneer bhurji. in your eggbhurji reciepe can we replace paneer with eggs ? or that wont be good?

Thank you so much in advance !

    1. Hi there,
We will put Paneer Chili on our list, thanks for the feedback πŸ™‚
Regarding Paneer Bhurji, there are sooo many variations to that recipe, basically, you can scramble and add in anything you have on hand and it’ll taste good πŸ™‚

  14. wow this one looks so yummy and cooling for these hot days in summer !

just perfact timing for this reciepe !

    will try asap !

Thank you so much ! Hetal and Anuja !

  15. Hi Hetal and Anuja,

I made the Gujarati Handvo and it was a hit in my family. My husband said it tastes exactly as if mom made the handvo… Thank You so much for all the recipes…They are so easy and simple to make…

    Thank you again…
    Bani..

  16. ur recipes r easy but we need to spend money to buy items that are ready to use which we don’t keep for every day use.

since its ready to use – it’s simple recipes

like buying broth, condensed milk, etc..

i noticed that we need to go shopping for each recipe.

other than that i like ur recipes. but i don’t make the ones that requires to buy can food or any ready made ingredients.

keep up the good work though

        1. I do not waste veggies for broth. Instead I use all kinds of peels (bottle gourd, chinese okra, carrots you name it) stems (cabbage, cauliflower, spinach) which are left over after I have used the veggies for cooking. Basically I use every part of the veg that was not used for cooking daily recipe. These are perfectly edible. As I come across I save all of it for a week or two in freezer. I wash these peels and stems very well. Then I boil them with tomato, celery and onion and other aromatics. Please try this method. Since it comes from “discards” it’s not really a waste. And you won’t believe the flavor you get!!!!

    1. I completely disagree with this comment. I was surprised how one can make a comment like this. actually noticed the opposite. The recipes that you have give us tips on how to use easily available stuff like hung yoghurt(in this recipe), lady fingers(n the tiramisu recipe),broth….. there are so many recipes where you guys have given alternatives. ofcourse, some of us may not have readily needed ingredients but that’s just our fault in not stocking up the basics… keep up the good work
      Love you guys

      1. to cut my long story short πŸ™‚ – your ingredients are generally available at home itself except for some speciality recipes

    1. Hi R,
The broth is where the flavor and the nutritional value is. Having said that, you can add water but the flavor may not be there.
