I think the most commom misconception @ indian food is that people think its complicated to make and people get turned away from long lists of ingredients.

Show Me the Curry is the best site to learn and enjoy cooking. Simple, easy & expressive.
I in fact learned cooking with your site when my wife was away on a long vacation. Now I can help her in cooking.
Keep it up.

Let me be to the point, I’m an old white guy. I was the head chef for a well known baseball team who cooked ethnic foods except for Indian, which I didn;t know how to cook. I still don’t, in my humble opinion, as the nation and the cultural divisions are many in India.
Without these two sweet ladies, I wouldn’t know how to cook anything Indian. Without their videos, I’d be afraid to try. Lucky for me, I save each one and pass them all on to others who do the same. While I rely on another site for recipies, “Show Me The Curry” is my top choice, by far.

As a newly initiated “Indian” cooking fan .. I am finding how these two present it very helpful. In trying to learn in India there is the language barrier and the differences in cooking processes. I’m learning a lot from these two ladies. I hope the food channel has the foresight to pick them up!

We don’t ~have~ to get Indian food in a restaurant! Hands down, the team of Hetal and Anuja at “SHOW ME THE CURRY” excel at making the universally-loved cuisine of India accessible to all those who thought they couldn’t prepare it at home. “SHOW ME THE CURRY” simplifies the process so that even a budding cook can bring beautiful and delicious Indian cuisine to their own dinner tables. Excellent food, clear and detailed demonstrations, fun to watch!

Best of luck to you guys!

Ok, I voted and this was my comment:
Show Me The Curry covers Indian food from A to Z, from cooking simple chapatis to making biryani. They are great at providing very clear direction and make Indian cooking look simple. I have been a Food Network fan for many many years, however there has only been one thing missing…..INDIAN COOKIN.’ What better way to learn how to cook Indian food than from two beautiful ladies who truly cover authentic Indian food that taste delicious than someone who cooks fusion Indian food where most of the ingredients are Western? My vote will go to Hetal and Anuja from Show Me The Curry!

I accidentally came across Hetal and Anuja’s website “Show Me the Curry” a few years ago. I had no experience cooking Indian dishes. They post recipes that are easy to understand with the correct measurements..they always turned out very tasty. In addition to the authentic Indian recipes, I also like the fact that they make use of vegetables not commonly associated with Indian cuisine for a nice change of pace (also appeals to my american taste buds). I bought one of their DVD’s and found it very helpful for the planning of a big event. Wonderful ladies and cooks!

Hello Food Network team,
Your channel is my all time favorite and I would love to see a new dimension by having Indian Cooking show on your channel. For all of us who percieve Indian cooking as one of the difficult cuisine, Hetal and Anuja have made it simple and easy to follow on their website http://www.showmethecurry.com. I think they will truly add a “pinch of spice” to your channel which is their mantra.

Hi Ladies,
Thank you so much for teaching me everything I know about Indian cooking. I could not have done it without out you all. Being on strict gluten free diet, Indian recipes have allowed me to enjoy food again. My white, Native American(“Indian” :0) and black household now eats a 90% Indian diet and we absolutely love the flavor. I mentioned race because sometimes it’s nice to know how much of an impact you are making within another culture.
Thank you and good luck!
