I really like the sound of this recipe. As I am in a time crunch, with little time to prepare this dish, how can I adjust it to suit a crockpot?

Is it possiblr to also add a touch of turmeric at the beginning with the onions?

Hi Hetal & Anuja,

I made this for dinner last night, and what a delicious meal it was !!

This is a great recipe and a definite keeper. I used black eye peas, lima beans & black beans. I also threw in a handful of kidney beans for good measure. I used smart grounds – veggie protein crumbles instead of nutrela and it was superb. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this and all other great recipes. You guys are awesome cooks and beautiful women !! Wish you a happy 2011.
