I dont understand why you are looking for “Khatti Meethi” daal when they are clearly saying that they showing recipe for JUST “Khatti” Daal.

They are not saying anything about “Meeth” here, so whats your confusion lady?

Hi Afra,

This is one of the daals that can be easily cooked on the stove in a pot. We have not cooked daal in a pot in a very long time (we prefer pressure cookers ), but it will probably take about 30 to 40 minutes. You may also have to keep adding additional water as needed while it cooks.

Hello ladies..

This recipe looks suuuper easy..can’t wait to give it a try..but there is 1 thing..i have never used a pressure cooker..and I’m scared actually to use it..Would it work the regular way..like just covering the pot and that’s it?

And if yes how long does it take to cook?
