Hi Peri,

The cheese we used is a processed one but you could use regular cheddar cheese. The recipe and process is different though. You would have to make something like a basic white sauce with milk, butter/oil, and flour first and then melt the shredded cheese into it.

I would love to try this recipe. But unfortunately, unable to find a store which sells velvetta cheese..could you please recommend any store which would have this?

hello ladies.. thnku so much 4 dis as i am a cheese lover, i tried dis and i and my sis both loved it thankyou.. cn u tell us how to make nachos with a low-fat cheese… i will be greatly thankful to u bcx i luv nachos but whenever i try making them sommething goes wrong.. so i wud love to make it your way luv u… both of u rock…;)

How many people will your recipe feed and do I double up on the cans if I take the entire block of velveeta cheese?

Also, do I keep it on the crock pot while guests are serving themselves. Of course I will let it cook for few hours before serving.
