    1. Hi Asha,

The translucent sheet is called Silpat. It is a non-stick rectangle that you place in baking sheets so that things like cookies don’t stick to the pan. In this case, we were just protecting our cutting board – no real use.

  14. Thanks for the tips ladies! I woke up this morning (start of school semester) and started getting flummoxed onn what to send in to school for lunch! Great idea.

  15. Hi,
This is a good one. I make it a little different. Put the chapatis on the tava. Cook it lightly on both the sides (until you have light brown dots). Smear little butter on both sides. To one side, pour little beaten egg. Smear it on the chapati(one side only). Egg will cook lightly due the hot chapati. Put some filling of your choice (dry – mutton / chicken keema or veggies)on the same side & close the chapati in the middle. The softness of the egg will make it stick. You can make it as a roll also. It tastes wonderful as well.

  16. Thanks Hetal and Anuja,

I have never packed lunch from refregrated items.
I either cook something simple in the morning or they eat school lunch.
These wraps seems to be easy and simple for lunch. Since the kids eat lunch around 12 pm. will these tortillas and meat stay good that long outside? pls let me know. Thanks

  17. Hi Hetal and Anuja,
