For the holidays and for parties, we always need recipes that can be made ahead and kept aside. Make this Pizza Dip ahead of time and bake it right before you are ready to serve it. You’ll have your family and guests licking their fingers. It is also perfect for the winter season when you want a warm dip to compensate for the cold outside. And it’s cheese…who does not like cheese?

Ingredients:

Cream Cheese
Spaghetti Sauce/ Pizza Sauce/ Marinara Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Canned Sliced Mushrooms
Sliced Jalapenos Peppers
Sliced Black Olives

Method:

1. Allow the Cream Cheese to come to room temperature.
2. Choose a oven safe dish to bake and serve the Pizza Dip.
3. Spread a layer of Cream Cheese at the bottom of the dish (approx 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)
4. Spread the sauce (Marinara / Spaghetti / Pizza Sauce) evenly over the cream cheese .
5. Top the sauce with a layer of Mozzarella (or Pizza) Cheese.
6. The next layer is your choice of Meats (cooked) or Vegetables (canned Mushrooms, Onions, Bell Pepper, Olives, Jalapenos etc)
7. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
8. Look for the cheese to melt and start bubbling and a few brown spots.
9. Serve hot with tortilla chips.

  1. Made this dip for a party รขโ‚ฌโ€œ big hit!

However, the water from the spaghetti sauce separated out completely, and the dip became a little running.

How can we avoid that? Plan to make it again for super bowl this sunday..

        1. Hi Payal,

If you are in the US, most grocery stores carry them next to all other cheeses. You can also try to use hung yogurt if you cant find it.

I was thinking about trying to make this Dip but I was wondering, if I had left overs would it still be good to refrigerate an reheat the next day to eat? Also, do you guys give cooking classes by any chance?

  3. Hi Ladies,

I want to make this dip for my daughter’s 1st B-Day party. How many will this recipe serve?

Also, what else can I use as an appetizer from your menu that would go great for adults and children?

Thank you so much for your help.

  5. Made this dip for a party – big hit! added jalapenos, bell peppers and olives and it tasted just like a pizza.

However, the water from the Ragu sauce seperated out completely, and the dip became a little running rather than being gooey. Tips please?

    1. Hi there,
Tomato puree is watery and uncooked where as Spaghetti sauce is cooked, has flavoring and thicker. Having said that, it is better to use spaghetti sauce but if you want to use the Puree, we suggest you cook it, flavor it with some spices and herbs and cook it down a bit, that should do the trick ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. hi i m great fan of your recipies i want to ask u that we can use cream chees on pizza and i want to ask u another thing that in our area we do not get paneer instead of that what we can use i have mad paneer at home at youe recipies it done good but when i put it in gravie it become too much soft

    1. Hi Nirali,

Usually, cream cheese is not used on pizza. You can use mozzarella cheese. There is no good substitute for paneer. Some people use tofu but it does not taste like paneer. If your paneer falls apart, you can try to either deep fry it first or pan fry it so that the sides become harder and will hold shape.

  7. hello,

  9. Hi Hetal i was just thinking which brand cream cheese to use . Which brand do u prefer . Please help. Thanks for your great and easy receipe.

    1. Hi Vilma,

You can’t go wrong with Philadelphia brand cream cheese but we’ve had pretty good luck with our local store brand (Kroger) as well.

    1. Hi Nusrat,

Before you bake the dip, it can stay in the fridge for a few days. After you bake it, you can store it in the fridge for about a week and reheat it. Just heat until the cheese becomes bubbly again.

  10. Hi!

I live in India and stumbled on your website when searching for some recipes. They’re really easy to follow and make for a beginner like me! I was wondering if you could tell me a good substitute for cream cheese which is easily available in India since the imported ones here are extremely expensive. I’d be willing to try a simple recipe for making it too if you post one!
