Pedas are a wonderful and delicious mithai (sweets) that are very popular and are often served during Diwali, the festival of lights. Traditionally, they are made from milk that has been cooked and cooked and cooked until it thickens. They have a smooth and silky texture and just melt in your mouth. Since one Peda is never enough, we have a simplified version that is just as tasty and a lot easier to make. But, can you please tell me where wud i find Milk Powder here..

Instant Nonfat Dry Milk (Milk Powder)is what is written on the package and is available at any grocery store in the coffee/creamer aisle. You can buy Carnation brand or any local store brand as well.

I had these at Prabha’s Diwali party and fell in love with them!
I’m so happy that they look so easy to make. I plan on making them for three upcoming parties this weekend.
My question is: will they stay fresh for a few days in the refrigerator, as they await delivery to the various parties I’m attending?
